Huriawa – Taniwha goddess / guardian of Waikoropupu spring

She is the one who gives birth, cleanses, heals and nurtures. Her devotion to her children, water & nature is the purest.

Huriawa is one of three main taniwha of Aotearoa.

She sometimes travels to manage other sacred water areas, leaving Waikoropupu with her children during her absence.

Waikoropupu spring is known to produce 14,000 litres of water per second – enough to fill 40 bathtubs.

The spring and forest has healing powers, ever so calm and magical for those who can ‘see’ with their heart.

The healing water is considered sacred, and no one is to touch the water. The spring is in Tākaka, Golden Bay, Aotearoa / New Zealand.

フリアワ – ワイコロププ泉のタニファ(水龍)。

彼女はアオテアロア(マオリ語でニュージーランド)の3大龍神と言われ、彼女は命を生み出し、養い、清め、水や自然を守護しています。彼女の子供達、聖水、自然への想いほど清らかなものがあるでしょうか。

時折、フリアワは別の地域の水をクレンズするため旅に出て、その間は彼女の子供達(水龍)が代わりにワイコロププ湖を守護してくれています。

ワイコロププ湖では1秒に1万4千リットルもの水が湧き、バスタブ40個分にも及ぶそう。昔からマオリの聖域として守られ、タプな（神聖）水に触れることは制限されています。

「心で見ることが出来る人」はきっとこの森で沢山の神秘を目の当たりにするでしょう。

🐉Ānanda: One who stands for Bliss and Virtue, revered in Esoteric Buddhism.

🐉Upananda: Younger brother of Ānanda, together they form the foundation.

🐉Sāgara: Guardian of the great ocean and compassion.

🐉Vāsuki: Known also as the Nine-Headed Dragon.

🐉Takṣaka: One who defeats enemies with a gaze of wrath.

🐉Anavatapta: Guardian of water from the northern Himalayas.

🐉Manasvin: One who protects all from tsunami and poison.

🐉Uppalaka: One who teaches to live like the blue lotus.

They watch over us, ensuring we do not stray from the truth.

太陽神ラーの愛の輝きは、この世の何物とも比べものにならない程に眩しく、私達を永遠の豊かさへと導いてくれます。

彼は、わたしたちにとって、大いなる父性、守護神、王、親愛なる友です。

Taniwha of Riuwaka

The water of Riuwaka is tapu – sacred.

But do the visitors know it and respect this?
Can they see whose forest / water it is?
Do they know about taniwha who is a kaitiaki – guardian of this place?

I hope so.

I have been visiting this place ever since I started living in Whakatū, and I have become a friend to the taniwha and her family.

There is a main taniwha and many smaller ones, and the members fluctuate day by day.

The other day the main taniwha showed me this art vision when I was listening to the water there.

Very specific vision – a round wood-like carving and water inside, like the one you are seeing now. (Representing her nurturing force in her motherly tummy.)

I was finally invited to make the art.

My heart goes out to the taniwha and her family, sleepless watchers of the forest, who are ever nurturing, yet strong and fearful.

リワカのタニファ(水龍)

リワカに流れる水はタプ(神聖)です。

どのくらいの訪問者がこのことを知って敬意を持っているのだろう？
誰の森、水だと分かっているのだろう？
ここを守る水龍達のことを知っているのだろう？

・ネルソンに住み始めてからずちょこの場所をお参りし続け、水龍とそのファミリーと友達になりました。

ここの守り神である水龍と、もっと小さい存在達が居て、行く度に誰が居るかは変わります。

タニファ達から、アート制作の許可とビジョンを受け取り、この作品が生まれました。

丸い木製のようなカービングの中に水がある様子は、彼女のお腹に宿る産み育てるエネルギーの象徴。

見せてもらったビジョンのままに描いてみました。

Fudomyoō (a.k.a. Achalanatha) with Kurikara Dragon King, and the Garuda Flame

He is a Buddha who descended to this earth as the spokesperson for Dainichi Nyorai (Vairocana Buddha), helping us humans to stay on the path of love.

Other Bodhisattvas embrace us with kindness and love, but sometimes that alone is not enough to guide the strayed minds of stubborn people onto the path of pure light. This is where Fudomyoō comes to help.

The Kurikara Dragon King Sword in his right hand cuts off evil thoughts. It’s a double sided sword – meaning, he is committed to help us face our impurities while he knows he might lose his life in the process too.

The rope in his left hand lifts us from the depths of ignorance, and the Garuda Flame rising from his back burns away all that is not love and truth.

Bodhisattvas and other deities are usually depicted standing on a lotus flower, indicating that they have already attained enlightenment.

Fudomyoō, on the other hand, wears a lotus crown; having attained enlightenment, he has descended to the human world to help people.

Acala clearly conveys to us truths that are difficult to speak, and supports many miracles and transformations. His powers are wide-ranging, including driving away evil spirits, protection, warding off misfortune, and promoting good health.

I personally connected with and was trained by his visitations over the last few years, and this brought me so much courage, love, clarity and miraculous powers.

不動明王、倶利伽羅龍王、迦楼羅炎

不動明王様は大日如来様の代弁者としてこの地に降り、私達人間が道を逸れてしまわぬようお手伝いしてくださる仏様です。

如来様や菩薩様は優しく愛で私達を包みますが、それだけでは頑固な人々の邪心や煩悩を清らかな光の道に導ききれない場合があります。そこで不動明王様がお手伝いくださるのです。

右手の倶利伽羅龍王剣は、諸刃の剣。不動明王様も死ぬ気で、私達の煩悩に向き合い、真実ならざるものを断ち切ろう…という姿勢を表します。左手の羂索は、私達を無知の淵から引き上げてくれ、また、背に立ち昇る迦楼羅炎は不浄の全てを燃やし尽くしてくれます。

通常、菩薩様などは蓮の上に立っており、これは既に悟りの世界にいらっしゃる存在であることを示しています。一方、不動明王様の頭には蓮の冠が見えます。これは彼が既に悟られているにも関わらず、人々を手伝うために人間界に降りてきてくださっていることを意味しています。

不動明王様は、言いにくい真実もはっきりと私達に伝えてくだり、多くの奇跡や変容のサポートをしてくださいます。悪霊退散、守護、厄祓、健康の成就など、そのお力は多岐に渡ります。

私自身も数年前に不動明王様と繋がり沢山の教え、変容、勇気、強さ、奇跡を頂きました。愛いっぱいです。
